Founded in Drummondville almost seventy years ago, Vaillancourt Doors and Windows has always believed that the business has a role to play in its community. We are particularly dedicated to supporting organizations working in health and education, two major concerns in our society. We also believe in the value of sports; indeed we share its principles of team spirit, solidarity, and hard work. This is why we sponsor various clubs as well as any sporting events in which the Vaillancourt Doors and Windows team is eager to participate.
The Fondation de la Tablée populaire
We are a proud partner of the Fondation de la Tablée populaire, whose mission it is to help underprivileged people living in and around Drummondville. For example, the foundation helps underprivileged primary school children by providing healthy breakfasts and lunches each school day. We support the organization through our annual involvement in the Loto-Maison L’Union-Vie campaign, which raises funds for the Fondation de la Tablée populaire.
Our investment in education
We believe that the education of our children, the architects of our future, is of primary importance. We therefore support the following organization and large-scale project:
- Fondation du Cégep de Drummondville
The foundation collects, manages, and redistributes funds in order to ensure that the Cégep de Drummondville continues to be a prestigious institution of higher learning, one that is renowned for the success of its students, its innovation, and its human touch. - The projet UQTR – Campus de Drummondville
The UQTR project (Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières) was a plan to construct a new campus that would offer the following programs: education, business administration, accounting studies, IT, social work, nursing sciences, as well as some engineering disciplines. The campus was inaugurated in January 2016.
Our investment in health
Vaillancourt Doors and Windows makes a point of supporting organizations dedicated to making quality health services accessible to all.
- The Fondation René-Verrier
The foundation was set up in 1998 in honour of René Verrier, who died of cancer. In 2014, the Verrier family opened the Maison René-Verrier to house palliative care patients. - The Fondation Sainte-Croix/Hériot
The foundation raises funds to help maintain an excellent level of service from the Drummondville Centre de Santé et des Services Sociaux (health and social services centre).
Our investment in sports
Vaillancourt Doors and Windows is well aware of how important it is to keep the citizens of Drummondville and the surrounding area active and inspired to surpass their limits. It’s why we support, among others, the soccer and Dek Hockey teams, the Cégep de Drummondville’s badminton team, and the following sports clubs:
- Club de ski acrobatique du Mont-Sainte-Anne
- Club de BMX Drummond
- The Collège Saint-Bernard motocross program
